The Legal team assists Finantier’s aim to be the leader of the Open Finance platform in Southeast Asia, by ensuring the business operation is in line with the applicable laws and regulations. We identify the legal risks and contribute accountable advice based on a proper legal basis. We are dedicated and motivated to deliver top-notch legal services to all stakeholders on business needs.
The Responsibilities
- We need legal savvy who can handle to:
- Draft, review and update foundational legal documents
- Collect, document, and analyze relevant data to improve legal operations
- Conduct legal research related to Finantier’s business across many different laws and regulations, especially financial technology activities.
- Respond to legal requests from the business team by summarizing and communicating legal concepts and procedures.
- Support legal team in streamlining and scaling the team’s processes and procedures.
- Manage and organize all legal documents properly, as well as the workflow of legal documents.
The Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in financial institutions, financial technology companies, and/or reputable law firms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Strong legal research and legal drafting skills
- Experience with – and excitement in – tackling out-of-the-box and/or difficult concepts with high levels of autonomy
- Well-organized and capable of managing projects
- Intellectually curious, highly analytical, and loves to problem-solve
- Comfortable with giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across functional teams
- A detail-oriented, big-picture thinker with comfort with “blank paper” assignments
- Excellent communication skills both in English and Bahasa
