We are looking for a highly-driven and motivated Intern to join our growing regional Strategy and regional Operations team working directly with Senior Management.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly driven student, who wants to apply their experiences to a new space, and have the opportunity to work on projects with a clear focus on operational excellence, innovation and business growth.
Job Description
- Work directly with our regional and local operations team with a clear focus on improving and scaling our operations
- Analyse operational metrics feeding into our medium and long-term strategies and identify new opportunities, generate business case and pitch to Senior Management team
- Assist in the development of initiatives, SOPs and workflows to optimize our end-to-end operations in stores
- Assist in facilitate best practice exchange between different markets
- Conduct competitive benchmark, market research on equipment and technology to further streamline our in-store operations
- Prepare and own training modules, coordinate with other local & regional teams to ensure the effective roll-out of cross regional initiatives
- Take ownership in managing existing systems and processes with direct impact on day-to-day operations in the markets
Requirements
- You are a current or recent student in business administration, general management or international business, (process) engineering or related field
- Ideally you have gathered first experience in Service and Operations heavy industries, such as e.g. food delivery or mobility platforms (e.g. Foodpanda, Grab) or a high-growth tech company operating at scale (post-Series-B minimum)
- You have an unmatched interest in food and beverage trends
- You have creative problem solving skills combined with strong analytical skill set
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office or Similar Google Tools (Sheets & Slides)
- You are structured, remain calm in even overwhelming situations
- You have very good command & skills in English
- You are proactive, diligent, and a good team player who is comfortable and enjoys working with multi disciplinary & cultural teams
- You are excited to work in a fast-paced international start-up environment
- Only full-time internship applicants will be considered (at least 3 months)
