Risk Analyst

What You Will Do

• Analyze and mine a large pool of user behavioral data to
• investigate potential risk and fraud cases that are flagged by GoTo Financial  fraud detection rules and models
• Investigate consumer and merchant behaviors and transactions to determine if any risk or fraud  
• Identify likely fraud modus-operandi and feedback to risk teams for action 
• Build a knowledge repository for validation SOP across the entire Risk org
• Develop and update risk reporting dashboards/BI, airflows, and clockworks automation to accurately and timely report key risk metrics.

What You Will Need

• Experience in data-driven problem-solving roles in a fast-paced environment 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Quantitative disciplines 
• Good coding skills in one or more programming languages, e.g. Python, SQL, BigQuery 
• Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, Metabase is preferred by not required 
• Good communication and writing skills in English to present and engage with team and stakeholders about risk analysis
• Curiosity and a keen interest in data analytics 
• Experience in managing a team is a plus
• Experience in setting up automation processes through queries and scripts is a plus.
