Data Protection Intern

Job Description

• Assist with reviewing privacy impact assessments and providing privacy by design guidance.
• Assist with the testing of privacy and security measures / controls.
• Assist with maintaining our data protection compliance database
• Assist with remediation of control deficiencies.
• Assist with data protection projects as required.
• Support our operations in documenting, reviewing and evidencing compliance of data privacy safeguard language
• Communicate clear, objective, and patient explanations of team policies and protocols to our relevant stakeholders
• Escalate process gaps to help drive collaborative efforts to close these gaps and improve efficiency towards compliance standards

Requirements

• Able to work independently and demonstrated critical thinking
• Good communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to interact within team environment critical
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales imposed by legislation and business need
• Self-starter, intellectually curious and creative individual, who thrives in a fast paced, ever changing environment
