Legal Associate IP

Job Description

• Manage Tokopedia Group’s Intellectual Property portfolio (including new IP registration, IP renewal, managing IP list).
• Review  and provide advice in IP related matters
• Responding to a product content infringement report and being involved in anti-counterfeit initiatives.
• Attending litigation cases faced by the company, including both IP and non-IP cases.
• Attending formalities in the IP Office during filing, opposition, office action, and appeal process.

Qualification

• Have minimum 1 year of experience in IP law firms or as a legal IP in a company.
• Min. Bachelor's Degree with major in law from a reputable University.
• Have an interest and passion in IP matters and laws.
• Working knowledge for technology services and platforms and online business is preferred.
• Good communication and cross-department collaboration skills (fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English).
• Great time management, well-organized, detail-oriented, and consistent.
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of relevant Intellectual Property Law (scope of protection, registration process, license/agreement, and formalities in the IP Office)
• Excellent understanding or experience of basic litigation processes in handling civil and/or criminal litigation processes (creating and responding to legal claims, court formalities) is a plus.
• Familiar with online IP enforcement methods, including regulatory and industry-standard practice.
• Having an advocate license or IP consultant license is a plus.
