Performance Engineering

Description

• You will be involved in creating Frameworks and Tools that will boost productivity, security and performance system acceleration in Tokopedia
• Working on building a Performance diagnostic System to enable faster analysis on the systems, and faster investigation for any events.
• Deeply engaged in the full development lifecycle designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and improving the software.
• Deploy code daily and use data to drive our decisions while delivering software and analytics to consumers and dealers.
• Own your projects and collaborate with fellow engineers and product partners as you solve interesting problems
• Write well-formatted modular code
• Compile and integrate changes with the project
• Implement unit tests and functional tests for their tasks
• Convert given high-level software design to low-level software design
• Use suitable data structures
• Perform, debug and fix bugs, competency in 1 programming language

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 1 - 3 years of software development experience (Fresh graduate is welcome)
• Coding skill in Go, Java, or Python (Minimum : 1-2 Year experience)
• Experience in different databases. Relational (PostgreSQL or MySQL), NoSQL(Elasticsearch), and in memory database (REDIS)
• Experience in building Front End/ Web User Interface (HTML, CSS, JS) 
• Passion for building customer value-based systems, to increase productivity.
• High familiarity with Linux environment
• Good collaboration and communication skills.
• Good attitude and able to receive critics and inputs properly
• Able to withstood dynamics in workspace, both steady and fast changing pace environment
• Excited to learn and improving Performance of service module to support high scalability
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experiences with shell scripting
• Experiences with ReactJS, VueJS, or TypeScript
