Risk Management Associate (Marketplace) null

Job Description

• Work independently of other analysts while still chipping into the overall goals of the team and department.
• Provide an in depth analysis of massive user behavioural data and research of transactions in order to evaluate the fraud risk involved, especially in Marketplace, Categories & RGX, and Logistics & New Retail transactions.
• Assist in identification and reporting of bugs or issues impacting the team.
• Execute SQL database queries to retrieve and analyze data, as well as to produce standardized reports.
• Create and communicate risk policy to minimize risks across all operations of the company.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies through research and benchmarking.
• Perform risk management and evaluation periodically against limits and thresholds to ensure Risk Appetite is still within an acceptable level.
• Manage and develop tools for detecting fraudulent / attack attempts.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in all majors, but relevant majors are preferred (Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics)
• Minimum of 1 or 2 years working in fraud mitigation, fraud detection rule writing and developing risk management policies
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Passion for continuous learning and keeping up with risk trends in the e-commerce market and commitment to multitask in handling several risk cases. 
• Structured, Data-Driven, Analytical thinking, Innovative and able to be individual and/or team contributor
• Focus on consumer, detail-oriented, and fast response
• Has advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Familiarity with SQL is preferred.
