Software Engineer (Backend) - Platform

Job Description

Software engineering takes the central role in building Traveloka products and systems. You will be responsible for designing, building, improving, or maintaining our backend systems, working with monitoring tools and infrastructure. You may work on content delivery (image & videos), live stream, and an internal CMS management system that powers all dynamic pages. Our team is a central team that powers all product teams.

You will work in cross-functional teams and meet great people regularly from top-tier technology, marketing, product, or academic background. We work in an open environment where there are no boundaries or power distance. Everyone is encouraged to speak their mind, propose ideas, influence others, and continuously grow themselves. Get exposure to multi-aspect, collaborative, intensive startup experience with our recent expansion into Southeast Asia and exploration of new products.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate with a Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or having a minimum 1 year of experience in software engineering, application development, or system development.
• Can collaborate effectively with the team
• Passion in software engineering, application development, or systems development
• Have a good understanding of software engineering concepts, design patterns, and algorithms
• Experience in using Java/Kotlin (Backend), Terraform, AWS is a plus point
• Comfortable working up and down the technology stack
• Curiosity to explore creative solutions and try new things
